OUR ORIGINS
Carbon Shipping was incorporated in Singapore in 2019 with a vision of providing our customers with the best service available using our experience, our sincerity and good old sheer hard work.
Capt Sridhar Pingali is the Founder and Managing Director of Carbon Shipping. Prior to founding Carbon Shipping he was the Head of Shipping at ENOC (Emirates National Oil Company is a global diversified energy group wholly owned by the Government of Dubai) from 2011 to 2019.
His experience in Shipping of over 25 Years has included Command Experience at Sea, Project & Technical Management (Dry Docks and FSO Conversion), Setting up and running a Ship-owning entity, Shipbroking (Deep Sea and S&P) and Chartering In and Out of various sizes and segments of Tankers ranging from Barges to VLGC and VLCC’s.
OUR MISSION
At Carbon we intend to grow organically using the skills and lessons learnt over the years with the aim of improving our customers operational efficiency and profitability. The bruises and scars from our hard knocks in life will help us manage our customers’ risk and when challenges are faced, we will help our customers deal with them using our experience and network. A lot of the challenges our customers face daily are something we may have very likely faced ourselves in the past.
